Yu-Gi-Oh!, known in Japan and the rest of East Asia as Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters is an anime based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga. The success of Duel Monsters was one of the main factors in creating a real-world version of the game that served as the focal point of the series, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.
Plot
Like the earlier series, Duel Monsters is mainly about the various battles of a high school freshman named Yugi Muto through a card game known as Duel Monsters (Magic and Wizards in the original, although Duel Monsters is also used).
